How we look after your learning data

We only ask for the information we need to run mock exams, keep your progress synced, and send timely ACET and actuarial updates.

Quick summary

  • We collect your name, email, phone number, and exam preferences to personalize practice and support.
  • Payment details flow through trusted third-party digital payment providers; we never store full card data.
  • Analytics help us improve question banks and highlight strengths and gaps in your dashboard.
  • You control your communication preferences and can request data access or deletion any time.

1. Information we collect

  • Profile data: name, email, phone number, and account credentials.
  • Learning signals: mock exam selections, timing, submitted answers, and review feedback.
  • Technical data: device/browser metadata, IP address, and cookies that help us keep you signed in securely.
  • Payment confirmations: transaction IDs or success/failure codes shared by the payment gateway.

2. How we use your data

  • Deliver personalized mock exams, explainers, and analytics dashboards.
  • Send reminders, result summaries, and product updates you opt into.
  • Detect fraud or misuse and keep the community fair.
  • Improve question quality by studying aggregated, anonymized performance trends.

3. Payments & third-party partners

All transactions route through secure digital payment providers (such as card networks, UPI processors, or wallet partners). They handle sensitive card or bank data and only share non-sensitive confirmation details with Actuarials so we can unlock your purchase.

We may also use infrastructure services (hosting, analytics, customer support tools). Each partner is vetted for strong security practices and bound by confidentiality agreements.

4. Data sharing & retention

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers that help us deliver the product or when required by law. Practice history is retained while your account stays active so you can revisit insights; if you delete your account, we remove or irreversibly anonymize your data unless retention is required for legal reasons.

5. Security

We apply encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and ongoing monitoring to safeguard your profile. While no platform can promise perfect security, we respond quickly to vulnerabilities and notify you of any material risks as required by law.

6. Your choices

  • Update your profile, email, or phone number directly from the dashboard.
  • Adjust notification preferences or unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of every email.
  • Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing support@actuarials.app. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Contact

Have questions about privacy or security? Email support@actuarials.app and our team will help. If we make significant changes to this policy, we will highlight the update in the app and by email before it takes effect.
